PT Jamie
Personal Trainer Website
A coaching and personal training service site built to convert visitors into paying clients — fast-loading, mobile-first, with local SEO and a clear path from landing to booking.
The challenge
Most personal trainers get new clients through word of mouth, Instagram, or gym referrals. The problem: those channels plateau. A PT who wants to grow beyond their immediate network needs to appear in local search when someone in their area types "personal trainer near me" or "PT in [city]".
The brief for PT Jamie was to build a website that would rank locally, present the trainer's credentials and approach clearly, and make it dead easy for a prospect to reach out. The site also needed to work on mobile — the vast majority of fitness searches happen on a phone.
What was built
A clean, energetic service site with six core sections: hero with headline and CTA, services breakdown (in-person, online coaching, programmes), a brief about section, social proof, pricing tiers, and a contact section. No fluff, no filler — every section earns its place by moving a visitor closer to reaching out.
The colour palette is bold but not aggressive — black and green, with strong type hierarchy. The design needed to feel active and capable, without the testosterone-heavy aesthetic that alienates a large portion of the fitness market.
SEO approach
Local SEO was built into the structure from the start. The page title, H1, meta description, and body copy all include location-specific language. JSON-LD structured data marks the site up as a local service for Google's understanding. The contact section includes the service area explicitly, which helps with "near me" searches.
Page speed was prioritised: images optimised, minimal JavaScript, no render-blocking resources. A fast site signals quality to Google and converts better — a slow fitness site loses the visitor before they've seen anything.
Conversion design
Every section has a clear next step. The hero has a primary CTA. The services section links to the contact form. The pricing section has enquiry buttons on each tier. There's no dead end — wherever a visitor decides they want to talk, there's a route to the form without scrolling back up.
The contact form is short. Name, email, what you're interested in, when you'd like to start. No paragraph-length optional fields. The easier it is to send an enquiry, the more enquiries come in.
Result
A personal trainer website that works as a genuine sales tool — not just an online presence, but a lead generation asset designed to convert local search traffic into booked consultations.
